Installing DC5 red carpet

Time 1 hour
  • remove front seats
  • remove back seats
  • remove center console
  • remove dead pedal
  • remove door steps
  • install red carpet

Find DC5 red carpet in good condition, I got mine from one of the JDM online stores.


Remove front, back seat and back plastic panels on each side



Remove center console and stock carpet


Install your new red carpet

    1. Hello Hector,
      Actually, the fitment isn't that bad, you will have two small holes from the dead pedal, some people sew it but I just left it. It's under my floor mat anyway.

  2. How did you remove the main wiring harness? It seems to be connected to the dash, did you remove the dash?

    1. Hello Kent. You don't have to remove any wire harness from the dashboard. The only harness that has to be disconnected is from the front seats.
